The final book in the series (for now) closes off all the loose ends that normally bleed over from one of the series books to another. The author moves Jack Carter from the safety of the St. Louis area to England to crossover centuries old runner Bartholomew Westley. Westley was in St Louis in the previous book trying to get revenge on Jack for crossing over his friends Harbinger and Serpent, but through a fluke in the rules of combat was returned to his part of the world where he demanded Jack to meet him in another battle or he would begin to kill weaker chasers in the old country. Jack must prepare differently as Westley is stronger on his own soil and an epic battle will begin. Great book. Great series.Product details

Wonderful novel!!! I hope to see more of the Chaser series soon....
I have read all the Chaser series and was a bit surprised when I really got into them. I usually do not read anything fantasy but these were very intriguing. Maybe it is because I like all of John Dalglish books.
It is always refreshing to read a story without sexual content. I've read quite a few of John C. Dalglish's books and will continue to read them as long as he continues to write. I enjoy reading and his books never disappoint. Keep up the good work.
I chose this rating because it stressed at all things are possible if you believe and trust in God. I wish we had chasers against evil like in this book

All the "Chaser" books were very good, but this last one was far better than good. It was written with a nice sense of humor, was fast pace, exciting, thought provoking, and with a beautiful ending. The kind of book you can't put down & hate to see end.
Wow. Very much enjoyed this story. Sad parts and happy parts. Very well written and kept my attention totally. Sad there's not another book but where would it go??
