Usually a sequel to a book can be a let down but not the second book in the Middle at Valley Rise series. Most romance novels end and you have to use your imagination to think what happens to the couple but Karen Welch has continued the story of Emily and Santi. In this book we learn more about their growing love and commitment to each other as they prepare for their future together.I love how she incorporates the people in their lives into the story line and gives glimpses of each person's own story and how it effects the main characters.
I have even convinced my husband to read these books. They a full of faith in God, love for each other and others, full of laughs and some tears while this young couple demonstrates what true love means.
I recommend these books to everyone and can't wait to read the other two books.

A wonderful story, intriguing and uplifting. A real feel good tale of love and faith at work. Well done and very hard to put down.
This is one of the best series I've ever read. It took me a while to get into Book 1, but loved all 4. Will there be another one? Really east reading and kept me interested in continuing. Highly recommend.
But regret purchasing this one. Really? Two perfect people, loved by everyone who knows them, one gets hurt and the other drops his performance schedule and has to learn to cook, and fold laundry, and get her dressed. Then they struggle to be away from each other for a whole six weeks until their wedding, which famous people fly from around the world to attend. There is no suspense, drama, even miscommunication or conflict. Oh - forgot the Dr who mentioned that she may have problems conceiving - suspense until the next Dr says she's fine. She bursts into tears at every moment, whether it is perfect or not quite perfect. There is a big (for this book) build up about her making their bedroom perfect for their wedding night, then the surprise is that it is in the colors he suggested and she had his pajamas ready for him at the end of the bed. Oh - the bed was perfectly turned down.
This should be moved from Romance to Science Fiction/Fantasy. I not only wasted money on this book, it was a waste of time, and author talent if I think back to remembering how much I enjoyed the first one.
Stani and Emily have a beautiful life story that grows strong in their faith as each learn more about what life together could hold for them as a couple.Their love and faith is inspiring.They blend country girl and world renowned. Artist into somethingstrong and beautiful.

The story of Stani and Emily continues in the second book of this series. This is definitely a series that needs to be read in sequence but there are well developed characters by book two and the reader is already drawn in to the story line. While there was a need for editing with misplaced commas, missing words, and a few other grammatical errors, this book will keep you interested and wanting to know more about what happens to this couple and their friends.
It's so nice to read a romantic novel that is playful and has a Christian writer. The best part is that there are no forced sex scenes and you can enjoy the old fashioned romance.
This is a great story and, as in earlier times, should have been written as one engaging book instead of a series!
I'm looking forward to the rest of the story. I just don't like having to buy another book!
